Celebrating Sixty Years of India – Japan Diplomatic Relations

This year we are celebrating the 60th year of India-Japan diplomatic relationship. The Embassy of India, Tokyo and the Embassy of Japan, New Delhi have planned various business and cultural activities throughout the year.  

As a part of these celebrations, the Indian Scientists Association in Japan (ISAJ), in coordination with the Embassy of India, has also planned a few symposia and lecture series.  The ‘Indian National Science Day Symposium’ was held on February 28, 2012 from 14:30hrs at the Embassy of India auditorium in Tokyo. During the symposium, several eminent Indian and Japanese scientists spoke on the status of Indian and Japanese research developments in some of the important areas of Science and Technology. The symposium was attended by more than 70 acedemics and school children from the two schools.
